Maasai Village Visit

During your safari, you have the option to visit one of several Maasai villages. These villages are located near main roads, and while you’ll have the chance to meet many Maasai people, tour the village, and learn about their culture, some guests have shared that the experience felt somewhat uncomfortable. The visit costs $50 per vehicle, and you may be encouraged to purchase jewelry or crafts (though this is entirely optional). Over time, the experience has inevitably lost some of its authenticity, and we are actively seeking alternative options for our clients. You are welcome to visit, and we want to be open and transparent about what you can currently expect.
