Overview

Nakupenda Sandbank is situated just off Stone Town, approximately a 20-minute boat ride from the town. Once you arrive, snorkeling equipment, including masks, will be provided for you to explore the waters.

The underwater world at Nakupenda Sandbank is truly breathtaking, with a vibrant array of colorful fish and other sea creatures thriving among the coral reefs and underwater plants that make up the barrier reef ecosystem.

After or during your snorkeling experience, you can relax on the sandbank and enjoy tropical fruits such as bananas, pineapples, mangoes, and watermelons.
